Upcoming Brighton reading

I’m over the moon to announce I’ll be reading at the upcoming Hi Zero event on 10th April!

Hi Zero is my favourite Brighton poetry night and is a central feature of the city’s experimental poetry scene so it’s hard to put into words quite how honoured I am to perform at one of their readings.

The reading features the incredible Carol Watts and my friend and classmate Angus Walker – I love both of their poetry and it will be a treat to hear them read.

Please do come along!

Hi Zero #60, from 8pm at The Grand Central by the train station.

I’m a huge fan of what Hi Zero organiser Joe Luna does together with the other writing poets associated with the University of Sussex – Keston Sutherland and Sam Solomon, both of whom have been wonderful tutors and mentors to me, and Natalia Cecire. My fan credentials are rather embarrassingly displayed by the fact I wrote this feature on the Sussex Poetry Festival, which they organise, long before I properly met them and was taught by them –
